Serves 2


  • 1 cup gluten-free flour 
  • 2 cups almond milk 
  • 1 egg 
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Grass Fed Whey Protein Powder 
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil 
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 
  • 3 tbsp poppyseeds 
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp lemon zest
  • Toppings: blueberries, maple syrup, yogurt


  1. Add all ingredients to a bowl. Mix until combined. Add in the a few more tbsp of almond milk if needed. 
  2. Spoon the batter into a greased frying pan and cook each side for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add toppings and enjoy!
