Remember the good bacteria (aka probiotics) and bad bacteria duking it out in your intestinal tract? Well, they're also present in your mouth. Just like in your intestinal tract, they're waging a constant war keeping each other in balance.

When probiotics are thriving, no odour is created. But when harmful bacteria flourishes in the oral cavity, you might say hello to halitosis (aka bad breath) that smells like rotten eggs or rotten seaweed. Delightful.

Skin problems

Probiotics are true multi-taskers when it comes to your skin. They support skin's rejuvenation, strengthening, inflammation, and help heal scars and burns. Since chronic inflammation is tied to skin problems like acne, it's no wonder that a bacterial imbalance can make you break out.

So, it follows that when probiotics are low, you could suffer all kinds of unpleasant intestinal distress: diarrhea, constipation, nausea, bloating, gas, and heartburn. You might have tried generic antacids or over-the-counter stuff, which address the symptoms - but taking probiotics will address the root cause, leaving you with a balanced, happy belly.
